NEW YORK – Known for packing on the PDA on previous red carpets, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly didn’t appear hand-in-hand for the Tribeca premiere of Kelly’s latest film “Taurus.”
Instead, standing alone at around 6ft 4in was Kelly, who goes by Colson Baker in his acting career, wearing a sequined white suit with millennial sparkles pink hair. As a prop, he carried a syringe filled with blood earring with a dangling red jewel to look like a single drop.
The actor and rockstar posed alone for the cameras ahead of the screening of “Taurus” at New York’s Beacon Theater as part of the annual Tribeca Festival on Thursday. While the movie was the main event, the red carpet erupted in cheers as Baker walked into the media-filled tent. Fox, dressed in red, met him on the carpet as they entered the theater together.

“Taurus” written and directed by Tim Sutton follows the tragic fate of a Baker-like rockstar struggling with an addiction that alters his music and takes a heavy toll on those around him, including his assistant and young daughter.
Fox joined the cast and director onstage after the screening, saying little more than to interject when it came to describing Baker’s astrological chart. And while she only appeared on screen for about three minutes and without lines, Sutton said Fox was involved in the film from the start.

“I went to their house and threw (Taurus) hard at him,” Sutton told USA TODAY. “If we had (another) actress to play his girlfriend…it’s pure fiction. Instead, you’re like it’s their real life.”
However, the film, described by one participant as “‘A Star Is Born’ with a pinch of more depression” has a few remixes. Fox’s character Mae plays Colson’s ex-wife Cole, but in reality the two are planning a wedding after getting engaged with a sip of each other’s blood in January.
Blood continued to be a theme in the Fox/Baker relationship with the actor’s choice of jewelry and Fox’s red dress.
But when asked about the earring on the red carpet, Baker, who openly said he wore Fox’s blood in a necklace, simply replied, “Make up your own mind about it. this subject.”
