With the tremendous growth of internet users, there are now millions and millions of blogs out there are just waiting to be commented. As you all know, blogging is not easy, it takes a lot of time. To utilize some of this time efficiently with return advantages, you can comment on these blogs about 50-100 times a day. If you think about it, you can potentially get yourself up to 50-100 backlinks to your own website. Up to 100 comments may sound like a lot but it is really not. You can spread your time throughout the day, for example, comment on 10 during your break, another 10 during the commercials and so on.
I do not suggest that you comment on just any type of blogs out there on the net. Look for relevant high ranking blogs that you can comment on. To find all these relevant high ranking blog, I recommend bloggers to use Blog Comment Demon. With this software, you input the keyword you are targeting and before you know it, thousands of blogs appear before you, waiting to be commented. You can further refine your search. You can choose to display only wordpress blogs, or drupal, or type pad etc. You can also choose to display only blogs with certain PR or above. This software is easy to use and effective, plus it will save you a lot of time. Try it out and get a refund if you think it’s junk!
Here are some pointers:
1. Do not leave short comments like “nice blog”. That’s almost always rejected because it counts as spam.
2. Skim through the article by reading only the preview on the index page or the first paragraph of the article to see if this is something you will be interested in reading.
3. Leave useful comments relevant to what you just read. Some comments that would normally be accepted are questions, a suggestion or your opinion if the article is useful and why so.
4. In the box where you are suppose to fill in your name, use the keyword you are targeting instead. Therefore instead of John, you use “cool gadgets” or “iphone downloads” instead. The name you input will be link back to your website. Backlinks that are important keywords have been argued to have more weighting than random words.
5. If you are knowledgeable about your niche and able to leave some intelligent comments, people are more likely to click on your name to find out who you are. The more active you are participating in that blog, the more authoritative you are in that particular blog and the more people will click on your name.

From personal experience I have to agree. Not only to you tend to get reciprocal traffic, but you comment meaningfully very often you form networks with fellow bloggers.
