It is very common for me to ask random people about their opinion in regards to the websites, graphic designs, flash contents, and logos that I have developed for my clients. Do you want to change the look of your WordPress site or maybe to put something like a banner or adsense code on your blog? In order to do this you need to know about three important things: template files, functions and CSS.
Template Files
These files are stored in a directory (wp-content/themes/template-name/). So if you are using “default theme”, you need to access the files that are stored in “wp-content/themes/default/” directory.

When using WordPress Blogs, you need to use the proper elements. Headings are always at the top. Paragraphs need to have the right structure. Make sure your lists are actual List and not some gibberish. The theme should be constructed properly, if you use Images make sure there is text to back it up. Keep your content up to date and good, great of course would be better. Let you creativity flow. Use the permalink structure.

I am a website designer and also a site promoter, due to my line of work, I often get asked by my clients who started to adopt blogging on how to optimize their blog page.
They look behind the admin pages and realize that there are many PHP files within a single blog theme. Most of them are familiar with HTML coding but not PHP so, when they look around the files, they don’t really know where to add their keywords.
